CONTINUING EDUCATION
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
As the Lord brings people to our attention, he also guides us to assist them with a hand up, not a hand out. We have several children in various villages that are being assisted in going to school.
Continuing Education
Education is very important in Ugandan society and without a certificate, diploma or degree, finding a job is almost impossible. We have partnered with Agape to the Nations to fill in the gap for these students that would otherwise be unable to achieve this dream.
Currently, there are 47 students taking part in this program. Many are in high school (32). The students that have completed high school are currently in medical programs, business programs or are learning a skilled trade.
THE ALUMNI HOUSE
Part of this program also includes an upcoming initiative known as the Alumni House: a safe place where students can stay during their holidays or over a gap year. Many of our graduated students do not have the luxury of a safe place to call home during this time.
It will consist of 20 apartment style accommodations, a pavilion, a gym and guest quarters, where our alumni can learn valuable life skills and build community.
